About Us
- The Data Centre industry is a critical driver of the UK’s digital economy, powering everything from AI and cloud services to healthcare, finance and energy transition. And the North East has a growing role to play.
- The North East Data Centre Hub exists to:
- Bring together professionals, developers, operators, consultants and suppliers shaping the Data Centre sector
- Create a collaborative space for knowledge-sharing, innovation and best practice
- Strengthen local connections while amplifying the North East’s contribution to the wider UK and global Data Centre market
- Support growth, skills and opportunity across the regional ecosystem
Who's Involved?
The North East Data Centre Hub has been founded by major global companies including RED Engineering Design, Cleveland Cable Company, CMP Products, Durata, and RWO Associates. Together the founding members share a clear ambition to build momentum by collaborating on the development of a strong local engineering, construction, and digital supply chain to support data centre projects across the region and beyond.
